Shift Lead - Dunkin' Donuts & Baskin Robbins
Overview
You will own the daily shift at a high-volume Dunkin' Donuts and Baskin Robbins franchise, coaching a team of 5-10 crew members while ensuring smooth operations. You will report directly to the General Manager and coordinate with the management team to hit sales targets and maintain QSR standards. This role stands out by offering a fast track to assistant manager for proven leaders, with hands-on experience in POS systems and inventory control.
What You'll Do8
- 1Run the shift from opening to close, assigning stations and monitoring crew performance to meet service times
- 2Coach crew members on POS transactions, including cash handling and cash outs, ensuring accuracy with the cash drawer
- 3Delegate side work tasks daily, verifying cleaning checklists and food safety protocols are completed
- 4Perform uniform checks and enforce Dunkin' appearance standards, addressing infractions on the spot
- 5Manage break schedules, ensuring every employee takes their mandatory break at the correct time
- 6Assist the manager with inventory counts and ordering supplies as needed
- 7Resolve guest complaints with a positive attitude, escalating to the manager when necessary
- 8Support the training of new hires on espresso machines and ice cream station procedures
Requirements7
- 11+ years of shift lead or supervisor experience in QSR, coffee shop, or retail
- 2Previous restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment
- 3Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbal and written
- 4Proven ability to manage and motivate a team of 5-10 people
- 5Dunkin' Donuts or Baskin Robbins experience strongly preferred
- 6High school diploma or equivalent
- 7Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
