Shift Lead, Dunkin' Donuts Restaurant Supervisor
Overview
Own the shift at a high-volume Dunkin' Donuts franchise in Chicago. You will lead a crew of 5-10, enforce brand standards, and own the guest experience from open to close. This role sits on the front line, reporting directly to the General Manager and acting as the bridge between crew and management. You'll get real leadership experience in a fast-moving QSR environment, with a path to Assistant Manager roles.
What You'll Do7
- 1Open or close the restaurant, running the shift with full ownership of cash, cleanliness, and crew performance.
- 2Coach crew members in real time on POS accuracy, cash handling, and drive-thru speed, correcting issues as they happen.
- 3Delegate daily side work, assigning cleaning and stocking tasks to keep the store audit-ready.
- 4Run break schedules, ensuring every employee takes their mandatory breaks at the right time.
- 5Perform uniform checks, enforcing dress code and grooming standards.
- 6Support the General Manager with inventory counts, temperature logs, and shift reports.
- 7Resolve guest complaints on the spot, escalating to the Manager only when policy or safety requires.
Requirements7
- 11+ year in a shift lead or supervisor role at Dunkin' Donuts, Starbucks, or a comparable QSR.
- 26+ months experience running a cash register and making change accurately.
- 3Proven ability to delegate tasks and hold a team accountable.
- 4Fluent in English, both written and spoken, to communicate with crew and guests.
- 5Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
- 6Flexible schedule, including weekends and early mornings.
- 7Strong attention to detail for cash audits and cleaning checklists.
