Service & Repair Technician
Overview
Join our dynamic team on a 9/80 schedule as a Service & Repair Technician. You will service and repair products following documented work instructions in a production environment while delivering quality workmanship.
What You'll Do7
- 1Read and follow device/work instructions (DI)
- 2Verify that work instructions match assigned tasks and confirm required training
- 3Collect required materials and set up workstations per instructions
- 4Perform service and repairs and inspect own work for quality and compliance
- 5Complete data entry and documentation in designated computer software
- 6Learn and apply new work instructions as required by the supervisor
- 7Miscellaneous tasks such as completing required training promptly and assisting other staff
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or GED or one to three months of related experience/training or equivalent combination
- 2Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination or willingness to receive company-paid shots
- 3Ability to read and understand device/work instructions and verbal directions from a supervisor
- 4Ability to record data on documentation and in Windows-based software
- 5Ability to lift up to 25 pounds repeatedly
- 6Close vision color vision and depth perception sufficient for inspection tasks
- 7Basic math skills including use of U.S. units of money weight volume and distance
- 8Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions and solve routine problems with limited variables
- 9Ability to work safely with hazardous materials in a standard non-environmentally controlled production setting
