What You'll Do11
- 1Use material handling equipment to locate and deliver products to designated areas
- 2Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery
- 3Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers
- 4Build and wrap pallets of products using packing list information
- 5Inspect stock items for wear and defects and notify management
- 6Return misplaced products to proper storage areas
- 7Maintain a clean working environment following safety policies
- 8Perform inventory control functions as needed
- 9Refer complex problems to supervisor
- 10Exercise judgment under general supervision
- 11Review output regularly with senior coworkers or supervisors
Requirements6
- 15+ years working in multiple departments in a distribution center
- 2Previous experience operating material handling equipment
- 3Ability to understand written material
- 4HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred
- 5Specialized skills training/certification may be required
- 62-5 years of experience in area of responsibility
