What You'll Do9
- 1Design and lead ultrasound signal processing chain for clinical prototype
- 2Develop ultrasound sequences and reconstruct images from raw RF signals
- 3Apply image processing and deep learning techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy
- 4Prototype hardware using industry standards like Verasonics and Cephasonics
- 5Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to integrate acoustic lens designs
- 6Utilize simulation tools such as Field II and K-wave for virtual testing
- 7Translate clinical requirements into technical specifications for cross-functional teams
- 8Drive iterative improvements through hands-on debugging and performance optimization
- 9Contribute to fundraising efforts and strategic growth planning
Requirements11
- 15+ years building ultrasound systems with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading complex engineering projects
- 3PhD in electrical engineering biomedical engineering computer science or related fields
- 4MS or BS with 4-5 years equivalent professional experience
- 5In-depth knowledge of ultrasound imaging modalities including B-mode and Doppler
- 6Experience with ultrasound sequence development and RF signal reconstruction
- 7Familiarity with ultrasound simulation software and transducer design principles
- 8Strong understanding of ultrasound physics and wave propagation
- 9Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical domains
- 10Experience with Python or MATLAB for test automation and data analysis
- 11Basic electronics expertise including PCB design and signal integrity considerations
