Senior Solutions Architect, Capital Markets & Blockchain
Overview
You will own the technical adoption of Chainlink products across capital markets, working with top institutions like Swift and Mastercard. You will partner with Sales and Marketing to evangelize blockchain solutions, gather requirements from technical teams, and deliver PoCs that drive real value. You will also shape product strategy by sharing market insights with Engineering and Legal. This role stands out because you will influence the roadmap of a leading oracle platform while tackling complex institutional use cases in tokenization, DeFi, and digital assets.
What You'll Do9
- 1Drive the adoption of Chainlink products in capital markets by building technical trust with institutional stakeholders and guiding them through the sales cycle.
- 2Lead requirement-gathering sessions and scoping workshops with major financial institutions to design blockchain solutions for tokenization and DeFi use cases.
- 3Develop and deliver bespoke Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and prototype integrations that demonstrate viability within the customer's existing technology stack.
- 4Collaborate with internal Engineering and Product teams to translate capital markets requirements into feature enhancements and roadmap priorities.
- 5Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, challengers, and regulatory shifts in capital markets to effectively position Chainlink as the standard for onchain finance.
- 6Build a library of reference architectures and solution accelerators to shorten future sales cycles and enable repeatable deployments.
- 7Represent Chainlink as a technical expert at industry events, client meetings, and internal strategy sessions to influence product evolution.
- 8Respond independently to RFIs, RFPs, and DDQs, covering functional, technical, security, and compliance dimensions.
- 9Mentor junior architects and contribute to the growth of the solutions engineering practice.
Requirements10
- 15+ years in pre-sales or post-sales technical roles within capital markets or payments, working with major institutions.
- 2Strong knowledge of blockchain technology, including DeFi, tokenization, digital assets, and digital identity.
- 3Hands-on experience with middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services, and APIs.
- 4Proven ability to build and deliver PoCs and prototype integrations independently, using technologies like Solidity, Go, or Rust.
- 5Experience responding to RFIs, RFPs, and Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs) with functional and technical depth.
- 6Familiarity with capital markets concepts, financial instruments, and trading processes, including Corporate Actions, PMS, OMS, and Exchanges.
- 7Knowledge of networking protocols, private IP environments, cloud infrastructure, and SSL/TLS security measures.
- 8Experience with permissioned and public blockchains, including oracle design, data feeds, proof-of-reserve, and cross-chain messaging.
- 9Prior involvement in digital asset design, tokenized collateral, or digital securities at a regulated institution or central bank is preferred.
- 10Certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP (Solutions Architect level or higher), or TOGAF are a plus.
