Senior Software Engineer, National Security & Malware Modernization
Overview
Own critical malware analysis modernization efforts at scale within a national security program. You will lead development for a virtual malware containment enclave and modernization of enrichment services. What You'll Do10
- 1Lead development of software solutions for malware containment enclave and enrichment services.
- 2Design and code new features and modify existing software to meet performance and functional standards.
- 3Coordinate software system installation and monitor operation to ensure compliance with specifications.
- 4Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure alignment with project constraints.
- 5Confer with system engineers to derive requirements and obtain information on project limitations and interfaces.
- 6Develop and implement complex database interfaces and queries for data repositories.
- 7Implement algorithms that meet strict timing and resource constraints while ensuring quality control.
- 8Drive testing procedures and documentation improvements across the software lifecycle.
- 9Recommend new technologies and processes for complex software projects.
- 10Provide technical leadership and ensure adherence to software development processes across teams.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's and 12 years of related experience or 25 years of related experience without a degree
- 2Active TS/SCI w/ FSP required within 7 years
- 3Strong knowledge of software design, debugging, and documentation practices
- 4Experience leading software development teams and coordinating with system and hardware engineers
- 5Proficiency in designing or implementing complex algorithms and database interfaces
- 6Experience with Kotlin Spring or Spring Boot, Python, Java, REST, MongoDB
- 7Ability to develop simple data queries for databases or data repositories
- 8Demonstrated ability to analyze performance standards and optimize software systems
- 9Experience with test procedure development and quality control across software components
- 10Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
