Senior Java Software Developer, TS/SCI Clearance & Kubernetes
Overview
Own and deliver mission critical software at scale across on prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. Lead design and implementation of Java and JavaScript solutions, integrate Oracle IT capabilities, and work with government off the shelf products and third party integrations. Collaborate with teams and customers to address complex requirements while applying modern software development practices. This role emphasizes independent judgment, technical leadership, and secure, high quality solutions.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build, design, test, and deploy software solutions and complex configurations for customer requirements
- 2Develop technical solutions using Java and JavaScript with modern development and testing practices
- 3Support the detailed design and implementation of Oracle IT capabilities
- 4Support integrations with third party products and GOTS capabilities
- 5Develop and implement extensions and configurations addressing unique customer processes
- 6Apply proven methodologies and leading practices throughout solution implementation
- 7Collaborate with project teams through technical communication, planning, testing, and defect resolution
- 8Identify technical risks and contribute to risk mitigation activities
- 9Apply functional and technical expertise to on prem, cloud, and hybrid solutions
- 10Collaborate with customer management, teams, and clients during technical engagements
Requirements8
- 1Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required
- 2United States citizenship required
- 3Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or eight years of experience in lieu of degree
- 4Eight or more years of experience with Java and JavaScript
- 5Eight or more years of experience with modern software development practices and testing
- 6Deep understanding of Agile methodology
- 7Ability to communicate effectively and build strong working relationships
- 8Ability to operate independently and exercise judgment on complex technical implementations
