Reverse Engineer Malware Analyst, National Security Focus
Overview
Own malware analysis and reverse engineering at scale for national security programs. Collaborate with software developers and threat analysts to produce actionable intelligence from static and dynamic analysis. You will work on x86/x64 assembly and C/C++ tooling in a Windows-centric environment. This role emphasizes security clearances and long-term program work. This is a future need and requires sponsorship and compliance with federal requirements.
What You'll Do5
- 1Build and execute malware analysis using static and dynamic tools to identify indicators of compromise and functionality
- 2Design reports detailing infection vectors, data exfiltration methods, and attacker communication channels
- 3Lead collaboration with software development teams to integrate defensive insights into tooling and detection
- 4Ship analytic artifacts and tools under Windows internals and API knowledge to aid investigations
- 5Diagnose and debug reverse engineering challenges and provide scalable analysis workflows
Requirements10
- 1Must be a US Citizen
- 2Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Electrical Computer Engineering Math or closely related
- 3Advanced experience in software reverse engineering or software development
- 4Experience with x86 and x64 Assembly C and C++
- 5Experience using static analysis tools such as IDA Pro and dynamic analysis tools including debuggers
- 6Proficiency in Windows OS Internals and APIs
- 7Excellent customer service and communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- 8Strong leadership interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
- 9Desirable: Proficiency in development for IDA Pro
- 10Desirable: Experience in mobile development Android iOS
