Senior Software Engineer, Customer Care Tech
Overview
You will lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions for Customer Care Technology at Walmart Global Tech, impacting millions of customers globally. You will work with a team of software engineers, data scientists, and machine learning experts building Generative AI applications. This role offers the chance to solve complex challenges in a large enterprise environment, driving measurable business value. You will collaborate closely with product, business, and UX partners to deliver maintainable, secure software.
What You'll Do7
- 1Analyze and classify functional and non-functional requirements to align solutions with business objectives.
- 2Design scalable software components and convert high-level designs into detailed functional logic.
- 3Develop maintainable, testable code following coding standards and security policies.
- 4Conduct code reviews, debug issues, and implement telemetry features for performance and reliability.
- 5Create and execute test cases, perform defect analysis, and support CI/CD processes.
- 6Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective and adaptive maintenance.
- 7Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements9
- 13+ years of experience in software engineering (or 5+ years without a degree).
- 2Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related area.
- 3Proficiency in object-oriented programming and multiple coding languages and frameworks.
- 4Expertise in requirement analysis, solution design, and software architecture for distributed systems.
- 5Experience conducting code reviews and delivering maintainable software components.
- 6Familiarity with agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.
- 7Strong skills in defect management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
- 8Experience with telemetry, security policies, and testing strategies.
- 9Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards is preferred.
Salary Insight
$108 - $216k per year
