Overview
You will own daily security operations at Signature Aviation's corporate headquarters, managing access control, CCTV, and visitor management systems for a high-traffic facility. You will be the primary security contact for employees, executives, and visitors, ensuring a secure yet welcoming environment. This role combines front-desk hospitality with hands-on system administration, incident triage, and coordination with field teams and vendors. You will shape security procedures and serve as the go-to expert for security technology and incident response.
What You'll Do8
- 1Manage the access control system, processing access requests and issuing credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- 2Monitor CCTV feeds in real time, identifying and responding to security incidents or anomalies.
- 3Administer the visitor management system, handling check-in, badge issuance, and escort coordination.
- 4Serve as first responder for security incidents, conducting triage, documentation, and escalation as needed.
- 5Coordinate with field security personnel and vendors to ensure consistent security coverage and system functionality.
- 6Conduct regular audits of security logs and system access to identify potential gaps or misuse.
- 7Train new staff on security protocols and the proper use of security systems.
- 8Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations and lockdowns, ensuring clear communication and accurate record-keeping.
Requirements8
- 13+ years in corporate security, facilities, or related role with hands-on access control and CCTV system experience.
- 2Experience with visitor management software and front-desk operations.
- 3Strong knowledge of security protocols and incident response best practices.
- 41+ year coordinating with external vendors or contractors on security-related projects.
- 5Demonstrated ability to triage and document security incidents accurately and efficiently.
- 6Familiarity with Microsoft Office and security system reporting tools.
- 7Certification in security management such as CPP or PSP is a plus.
- 8High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field preferred.
