Overview
We seek a Senior Scientist - Biotransformation to lead analytical method development and metabolite profiling at IQVIA Laboratories. This role drives research acceleration through collaborative innovation. Responsibilities include analyzing and reporting in vitro and in vivo biotransformation studies ensuring data quality and supporting project execution.
What You'll Do8
- 1Perform in vitro and in vivo metabolite identification studies and support study execution from planning through reporting
- 2Prepare and analyze samples process data and troubleshoot analytical challenges to ensure data quality
- 3Develop and implement analytical methods for drug metabolite analysis under regulatory compliance standards
- 4Conduct metabolic profiling and acquire MS/MS data for metabolite structure elucidation and pathway assessment
- 5Compile analyze and interpret study results and prepare protocols technical reports and supporting documentation
- 6Maintain calibrate and troubleshoot laboratory instruments perform fault tracing and evaluate performance
- 7Develop standard operating procedures with guidance from senior staff provide training to junior and new hires
- 8Manage multiple projects maintain accurate experimental records and collaborate effectively in a team environment
Requirements5
- 1Ph.D. in chemistry biochemistry or biology or Master's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
- 2Three years of relevant experience preferred
- 3Experience developing analytical methods for drug metabolite analysis
- 4Hands-on expertise with metabolite profiling mass spectrometry MS and MS/MS data collection and interpretation
- 5Equivalent combination of education training and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree
