Senior Scientist Drug Metabolism
Overview
Lead advanced PK and PK/PD modeling expertise across discovery and development stages. Drive quantitative DMPK strategy and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to integrate modeling approaches. Design and validate complex PK/PD and mechanistic models to support dose selection and predict first-in-human exposures. Develop AI-enhanced modeling workflows and partner with CROs to ensure high-quality regulatory submissions. Shape business development and licensing evaluations while participating in cross-functional projects. This role differs by focusing on leadership in culture and driving innovation across scientific domains.

- 1Provide advanced PK and PK/PD modeling expertise on project teams across discovery and development stages
- 2Drive quantitative DMPK strategy for programs and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- 3Design and validate complex PK/PD and mechanistic models to address translational questions
- 4Develop and refine modeling workflows using simulation-based approaches and AI enhancements
- 5Work closely with project teams and CROs to deliver regulatory submission documents
Requirements5
- 1Ph.D. with 5+ years of post-graduate industry experience in PK, drug metabolism, pharmaceutics, or related fields
- 2Strong foundation in PK and PD principles with demonstrated ability to translate concepts into mathematical models
- 3Extensive experience in mechanistic PK/PD and multi-compartmental modeling with tools like Phoenix/WinNonlin, MATLAB/SimBiology, GastroPlus, or R
- 4Proven ability to design, implement, and interpret complex modeling workflows and communicate results
- 5Hands-on experience applying AI to model-building and workflow automation
