Senior Sales Engineer - Airbus Robotics LLC
Overview
Lead technical sales and solution development for advanced robotics automation aerospace tooling at Airbus Robotics LLC. Own technical proposals drive revenue generation partner with cross functional teams to deliver scalable solutions for aircraft production environments. What You'll Do11
- 1Design and deliver technical proposals defining solution scope across robotics tooling controls vision systems and factory integration
- 2Evaluate technical feasibility risks and shape executable solutions for capital equipment opportunities
- 3Partner with program management engineering and commercial teams to create cost estimates schedules and resource plans
- 4Support RFIs RFQs and RFPs with technically accurate responses identify pricing schedule and execution risks
- 5Serve as primary technical interface for customers during pre sales and early program phases lead discussions and build relationships
- 6Coordinate with mechanical controls software and systems engineering teams to ensure solution consistency
- 7Drive alignment between engineering program management and supply chain during proposal development
- 8Support continuous improvement of proposal processes tools and technical standardization
- 9Contribute to reusable solution architectures reference designs and cost models
- 10Support strategic initiatives introducing new technologies and expanding markets
- 11Manage 50% domestic and international travel for client engagements and program handoffs
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Robotics Industrial Engineering or related field with MS preferred
- 210+ years of experience in robotics automation aerospace tooling or capital equipment environments
- 3Proven track record in technical sales applications engineering systems engineering program engineering supporting complex engineered systems
- 4Direct experience working with customers to define requirements present solutions and support pre contract discussions
- 5Background integrating mechanical electrical controls and software systems into production environments preferred
- 6Familiarity with aerospace OEM production systems robotic drilling fastening inspection or assembly automation
- 7PMP certification or equivalent program management training
- 8Experience with international programs supplier coordination
- 9Knowledge of ISO ANSI/RIA CE safety standards
- 10Prior experience with companies similar to aerospace automation integrators

$156 - $184k per year
