As Senior Research Analyst, you will own market intelligence for Austin and San Antonio, tracking every significant commercial real estate trend to 5+ years of data-driven insights. You will join JLL's Research team of 570+ professionals, the largest in the industry, and work alongside brokers and clients to elevate a best-in-class program. This role stands apart by offering direct exposure to strategic business development and proprietary JLL technology. You will shape the narrative that drives investment decisions in two of the fastest-growing metros in the U.S.
What You'll Do8
- 1Monitor Austin and San Antonio property markets, tracking leases, sales, developments, and tenant activity to maintain a competitive edge.
- 2Build a deep expertise on local economies, job growth, and demographics to craft compelling market narratives.
- 3Produce quarterly research reports that deliver a unique house view on drivers like inflation and interest rates.
- 4Visualize data with Power BI and Tableau to turn raw numbers into client-ready insights.
- 5Update JLL's internal data system with new listings and absorption figures, improving accuracy daily.
- 6Support client presentations by covering market trends and statistics that close deals.
- 7Cultivate relationships with internal brokers and external clients, positioning research as a differentiator.
- 8Alert brokerage leaders to breaking CRE news, from mergers to REIT moves, in real time.
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor's degree in business, economics, urban planning, or related field.
- 22-4 years in commercial real estate research or a closely related field.
- 3Passion for real estate with strong commitment to learning market dynamics.
- 4Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- 5Ability to multi-task and manage time across competing priorities.
- 6Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and database systems.
- 7Excellent written and oral communication skills for client-facing roles.
- 8Collaborative attitude with willingness to work independently and in teams.
