Senior Property Adjuster, Insurance, Remote & Sacramento Area
Overview
Senior Property Adjuster will own complex property claims from intake to resolution at scale within a structured, remote environment. You will analyze coverage, negotiate settlements, and ensure regulatory compliance across moderate to high complexity claims in a telephone-centric workflow. What You'll Do10
- 1Build claim strategies for moderate complexity property losses and negotiate settlements within authority
- 2Design and coordinate information gathering with insureds, third parties, and vendors to drive accurate claim resolution
- 3Lead coverage analysis, SIU referrals when appropriate, and regulatory documentation to ensure compliance
- 4Drive claims outcomes by applying estimating platforms to prepare accurate property estimates
- 5Ship incident investigations using virtual inspection tools and industry standards for damage mitigation and restoration
- 6Own documentation quality and maintain current claim files through closure
- 7Scale workload during surges and CAT events, including potential on-call duties and after-hours work
- 8Collaborate with management to establish settlement recommendations outside authority limits
- 9Mentor teammates and serve as a knowledge resource on residential construction and policy terms
- 10Develop and report on efficiency metrics and best practices for remote property adjustment
Requirements9
- 1High School Diploma or GED
- 22 years of relevant property adjusting experience with moderately complex claims or construction related insurance exposure
- 3Developing knowledge of residential construction
- 4Working knowledge of estimating losses using Xactimate
- 5Demonstrated negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills
- 6Working knowledge of property claims contracts and interpretation of state laws and regulations
- 7Proficiency in prioritizing and multi-tasking across multiple applications
- 8Acquire and maintain an insurance adjuster license within 90 days (3 attempts maximum)
- 9Must reside within the greater Sacramento, CA area for remote role
