Senior Project Accountant Oakland Construction
Overview
We seek a Senior Project Accountant to lead financial oversight for construction projects in Oakland. You will manage accounting activities ensure accurate reporting and collaborate with operations to align budgets and costs. This role requires expertise in project accounting systems and proficiency across multiple deadlines. The position offers unique exposure to nonprofit financial processes and Intacct experience.
What You'll Do8
- 1Serve as primary finance contact for clients
- 2Review reconcile and maintain financial records and GL accounts
- 3Prepare financial statements budgets forecasts journal entries and management reports
- 4Analyze revenue expenses and trends to guide planning decisions
- 5Lead month-end close audits and special projects
- 6Identify accounting issues recommend process improvements and verify data accuracy
- 7Train Project Accountants and develop client training materials
- 8Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements5
- 13+ years accounting finance experience nonprofit background preferred
- 2Knowledge of nonprofit accounting grant funding is a plus
- 3Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 4Proficiency in Excel Outlook Word and accounting systems
- 5Intacct experience beneficial
Salary Insight
$90 - $100k per year
