What You'll Do15
- 1Work with Product Managers to define the long-term product vision and strategy for auto finance offerings, aligning with company objectives and industry trends.
- 2Lead development of multi-year product roadmaps, balancing innovation, technical debt, and stakeholder priorities.
- 3Oversee product backlog for multiple agile teams, prioritizing features based on business value, risk, and dependencies.
- 4Drive backlog refinement at scale, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment across teams.
- 5Serve as key contact for senior leadership, external partners (e.g., dealership networks, credit bureaus), and cross-functional teams.
- 6Negotiate trade-offs and secure buy-in from executives on product direction and resource allocation.
- 7Mentor junior Product Owners and team members, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
- 8Collaborate with Scrum Masters, architects, and developers to ensure seamless execution of complex initiatives.
- 9Leverage deep auto finance knowledge (lending, leasing, credit risk, servicing, dealership, collections) to anticipate customer needs.
- 10Incorporate analytics, customer feedback, and competitive insights to refine product offerings.
- 11Define success metrics and ensure solutions meet standards for usability, performance, and compliance (e.g., CFPB regulations, GDPR).
- 12Oversee end-to-end validation, including large-scale user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-launch optimization.
- 13Identify opportunities to integrate emerging technologies (e.g., AI for credit scoring, blockchain for secure transactions).
- 14Drive process enhancements within the agile framework to improve team efficiency.
- 15Coach and mentor less experienced product owners.
Requirements11
- 15+ years enabling digital processes, executing strategic roadmaps, and operating within an agile scrum environment.
- 2Bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, business, marketing, engineering, communications, or related field.
- 3Proven skill in synthesizing diverse information, generating creative solutions, and using detailed design processes.
- 4Ability to identify and resolve problems with skillful analysis, sharing expertise and building knowledge.
- 5Clear oral and written communication, maintaining confidentiality and openness to new ideas.
- 6Leadership and teamwork, balancing team and individual responsibilities.
- 7Adaptability and quality management, managing change effectively and striving for quality improvement.
- 8Professionalism and business acumen, aligning work with strategic goals and maintaining ethics.
- 9Willingness to work overtime as needed, and travel up to 10%.
- 10Live within commutable distance to Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; or Phoenix, AZ.
- 11Agile or SAFe Agile experience preferred.
