Overview

You will own new customer acquisition and brand initiatives at Tin Can, a startup building screen-free devices for kids. You'll drive growth through referral programs and kid-to-kid sharing, bridging online and offline experiences. Collaborating with Creative, Brand, and Growth Marketing, you'll turn bold ideas into tangible products that resonate with families. This role blends analytical rigor with creative execution, shaping how kids connect without smartphones.

What You'll Do7

  • 1Own the referral program, making it a core component of our growth engine.
  • 2Build a kid-to-kid sharing program that gets Tin Can hyped in the real world.
  • 3Give Growth Marketing the tools and systems to move fast, from landing pages to attribution.
  • 4Support bringing brand campaigns and experiences to life, from concept through execution.
  • 5Partner with Brand to shape ambitious ideas, not just execute on their behalf.
  • 6Align Creative, Growth Marketing, and Engineering on what's next, stitching dreams into reality.
  • 7Get scrappy when the job calls for it — whatever it takes to make something real.

Requirements9

  • 15+ years of product management experience, ideally with growth or brand focus.
  • 2Experience rallying diverse groups, finding resources, and keeping everyone on track.
  • 3Crystal clear communication, from prank call campaigns to attribution pipelines.
  • 4Experience collaborating closely with designers, creatives, and supply chain teams.
  • 5Excellent visual taste; you know something's great the moment you see it.
  • 6Technical and data fluency — you get numbers, think in systems, understand scaling.
  • 7Fluency using AI as a multiplier in your work; this is how we work, not a nice-to-have.
  • 8Ownership mindset — you're a PM, but also a 'call everywhere in Seattle to estimate sticker cost'-er when it counts.
  • 9Low ego, high enthusiasm — you cheer as loud for someone else's idea as your own.
