Senior Product Designer, Acquisition & Conversion
Overview
Own the visual design of Tin Can's growth experiences, from landing pages to checkout, for a screen-free kids' communication device. You'll shape the first impression that converts curious families into customers, partnering with the Conversion PM and Brand team. This role blends exceptional visual craft with conversion-focused UX, where every pixel serves the brand's nostalgic, quirky spirit. You'll also collaborate with product designers to ensure the site and device feel like one continuous story.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own the visual design of e-commerce pages, campaign pages, and acquisition programs, ensuring they reflect Tin Can's brand.
- 2Design high-converting landing pages and product pages, using Figma to prototype and iterate.
- 3Partner with the Conversion PM and Brand team to turn ambitious concepts into clear, beautiful experiences.
- 4Talk to customers and analyze performance data to inform design improvements.
- 5Run A/B tests on page elements to isolate changes and iterate toward a bigger vision.
- 6Build and document design patterns that help the team ship faster while maintaining quality.
- 7Prototype interactions and write microcopy that matches the brand voice.
- 8Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are implemented pixel-perfect.
Requirements8
- 15+ years designing and shipping consumer-facing digital experiences, with a portfolio showing exceptional visual craft.
- 2Strong UX fundamentals with a focus on conversion and usability.
- 3Experience designing e-commerce or marketing pages, including landing pages and product pages.
- 4Fluency using AI tools for design exploration and prototyping.
- 5Excellent judgment around user trust and quality, especially for kids and parents.
- 6Clear communication and ability to bring Brand, Product, and Engineering along.
- 7Hands-on approach; comfortable digging into research and data yourself.
- 8Low ego and high enthusiasm for collaborative work.
