Senior Product Engineer, AI Healthcare
Overview
You will own product features from concept to production at Brellium, an AI-powered platform serving 250,000+ providers across all 50 states. You will work with Python, AWS, and modern LLM integration to build the first real-time medical review platform. Your work will directly reduce clinical and compliance risks that affect 1 in 20 U.S. patients annually. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and users, turning ambiguous problems into shipped product.
What You'll Do8
- 1Ship full-stack features end-to-end, from technical design to production deployment using Python and JavaScript
- 2Build across frontend, backend, and data layers, integrating AWS services for scalability
- 3Collaborate with design, product, and leadership to shape product direction from rough ideas
- 4Own projects from concept to launch, making pragmatic tradeoffs between speed and craft
- 5Integrate modern LLM capabilities into production healthcare applications
- 6Scale data-intensive user-facing applications to handle 250,000+ providers
- 7Drive technical architecture decisions for new features, balancing AWS cost and performance
- 8Partner with customers to gather feedback and iterate on product features
Requirements7
- 15+ years of professional software engineering experience building full-stack features
- 2Experience building and scaling data-intensive, user-facing applications
- 3Familiarity with AWS deployments and cloud infrastructure
- 4Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- 5Track record of ownership and initiative in a startup environment
- 6Experience with modern LLM integration in production products (nice to have)
- 7Background in healthcare or life sciences industry (nice to have)
