Overview
The Senior Process Engineer at Micross leads IC Assembly process development to boost efficiency and quality on the production floor. This role involves process documentation operator training and experiment design. What You'll Do11
- 1Support Customer and Sales Group by reviewing technical requirements and determining optimal processes and materials
- 2Interact directly with customers regarding technical issues and specification reviews
- 3Define Assembly Processes for specific products and customers
- 4Conduct Design of Experiments on new IC Assembly Processes to improve productivity
- 5Provide DOE SPC and yield reports in clear formats
- 6Collect and analyze assembly yield data to assess equipment performance
- 7Generate detailed reports documenting experimental and procedural findings
- 8Assess existing processes to identify improvements and recommend solutions
- 9Evaluate and suggest new equipment to enhance production capabilities
- 10Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for process failures
- 11Identify cost quality and yield improvements through systematic analysis
Requirements7
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Electrical Mechanical Material Science or related field with 5+ years semiconductor back end process engineering experience
- 2Hands-on experience in wafer thinning dicing die-attach flip chip and wire bonding
- 3Advanced understanding of Semiconductor processes
- 4Proficiency in AutoCAD or Solidworks preferred
- 5Statistical Process Control Design of Experiments and FMEA experience highly desirable
- 610 years Assembly Process Engineering experience with hands-on Die Attach Wire Bond or Mold knowledge
- 7Citizenship United States required for sensitive military and aerospace programs
