  • 25Review vendor and discipline information for process engineering input
  • 26Develop bid packages for procurement of equipment and materials
  • 27Participate in professional society meetings and sales activities
  • 28Travel for client presentations and project tasks
  • 29Mentor less experienced process engineers
  • 30Conduct resume reviews, interviews, and evaluations
  • 31Identify work sharing packages for interoffice execution support
  • 32Provide leadership to ensure communication and execution within scope, schedule, and budget
  • 33Require Bachelor or Master of Science in Chemical Mechanical Biochemical or Petroleum Engineering
  • 34Register with Professional Engineering or hold CPIP certification
  • 35Have 10 years of relevant industrial experience in chemical petroleum or biochemical process design
  • 36Train others in process safety and site safety requirements
  • 37Know specifications and installation details of equipment instrumentation and piping
  • 38Create accurate process engineering documents from vendor data and drawings
  • 39Estimate task completion and assess progress and quality
  • 40Develop design criteria and scope of work for major capital projects
  • 41Apply understanding of skills and experience required for process engineering
  • 42Follow company engineering design and CAD drafting standards
  • 43Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • 44Know hydraulic simulation software such as AFT Fathom AFT Arrow PIPEPHASE PIPE-FLO and/or SiNet
  • 45Know process simulation software such as Aspen Plus Aspen Dynamics PRO/II DYNSIM HYSYS CHEMCAD WinGEMS ProMax
  • 46Excellent verbal and written communication skills
