Senior Payer Contract Analyst
Overview
Senior Payer Contract Analyst owns scenario modeling and analytics for managed care contract negotiations, monitors performance, and assesses industry trends. This hybrid role combines technical expertise with collaborative analytics delivery within the Payer Contracting department.
What You'll Do9
- 1Conduct detailed managed care contract modeling and analysis using available contract modeling systems
- 2Build flexible models aggregating fee-for-service and value-based data from multiple sources
- 3Enable scenario play through flexible modeling approaches
- 4Maintain key department metrics such as Managed Care Financial Reporting package and payer mix
- 5Monitor CMS Price Transparency requirements regarding machine-readable file publication
- 6Validate payer rate loads to ensure contract execution accuracy and perform root-cause analysis
- 7Track contract and rate changes across payer policies
- 8Serve as resource for ad-hoc projects and management consultations
- 9Collaborate with team members to understand needs and deliver analytics solutions
Requirements5
- 1Bachelor’s Degree in Finance Healthcare Administration Business or related field
- 25 years experience in payer related positions with budgeting and financial analysis
- 3Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- 4Experience with Contract Modeling tools and BI/Data Analytics applications
- 5Ability to thrive in fast-paced agile environment with accountability
