Overview
You will own the design and delivery of Mixed Integer Programming models that drive workforce planning and task assignment at InnoCore Solutions. Collaborating with business, Operations Research, and IT teams, you translate complex requirements into mathematical models built with FICO Xpress, Gurobi, or CPLEX. You tune solver performance to handle 5+ years of data, and your models will scale across the organization's daily operations. This role stands out for its direct impact on operational cost and efficiency.

- 1Translate business requirements into MIP models for task assignment and workforce planning.
- 2Build optimization models using FICO Xpress or Gurobi.
- 3Debug solver performance to cut model runtime by 30% within the first 90 days.
- 4Analyze solver logs and model outputs to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- 5Improve model scalability to handle 10x data growth without degradation.
- 6Drive model validation with business and IT stakeholders to ensure accuracy.
- 7Maintain and enhance existing MIP models to adapt to changing business rules.
- 8Document model logic and tuning decisions for team continuity.
Requirements8
- 15+ years building and tuning MIP models with Gurobi or CPLEX.
- 23+ years using FICO Xpress in production environments.
- 32+ years in Python or Java for model integration.
- 41+ years with SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- 5Degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related.
- 6Proven track record of improving solver runtime and model quality.
- 7Experience with workforce planning or task assignment models.
- 8Ability to communicate modeling trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
