What You'll Do11
- 1Develop detailed energy cost savings tariff optimization and resiliency valuation models for DER solutions
- 2Lead engineering design process from feasibility through construction documentation
- 3Design microgrid architectures and produce Scopes of Work incorporating protection schemes and controls
- 4Utilize HOMER and Xendee to perform techno-economic optimization of microgrid systems
- 5Engineer peak shaving load shifting and demand response strategies
- 6Evaluate DER asset portfolios based on site constraints and financial thresholds
- 7Conduct site visits and participate in customer meetings to align technical requirements
- 8Collaborate on RFPs including technical package preparation and bid evaluation
- 9Analyze market trends and regulatory frameworks to inform project economics
- 10Deliver technical presentations on grid-edge technologies and system value propositions
- 11Support commercial teams by translating technical solutions into clear value statements

- 1Perform microgrid feasibility audits and DER solution development
- 2Navigate legacy drawings and incomplete information to provide optimal plans
- 3Manage scope schedule and cost during preliminary design phase
- 4Technical knowledge of BESS solar PV microgrid controllers and CHP systems
- 5Familiarity with IEEE 1547 interconnection standards and island mode transition logic
- 6Proficiency in generating SOWs for EPC partners
- 7Ability to develop hybridized offerings like EV charging paired with BESS
- 8Experience with HOMER XENDEE ETB modeling software and DCF modeling
- 9Project development process adherence with industry standards
- 10Coordination with M&V teams for post-commissioning validation
