What You'll Do11
- 1Prepare and room patients following standardized clinical pathways
- 2Obtain accurate vital signs and document comprehensive patient histories
- 3Act as EHR superuser managing complex electronic health records
- 4Perform specimen collection and coordinate in-house laboratory testing
- 5Administer evidence-based screenings and manage medication dispensing
- 6Serve as clinical mentor to new medical assistants and students
- 7Maintain sterile instrument processing and perform quality control checks
- 8Track patient inventories and ensure supply chain compliance
- 9Clean and sterilize equipment per manufacturer guidelines
- 10Provide patient test result communication and follow-up coordination
- 11Assist with meaningful use documentation and population health initiatives
Requirements11
- 1Minimum 5+ years medical assisting experience
- 2Certification in Medical Assistant programs preferred
- 3High school diploma or equivalent
- 4Valid state driver’s license
- 5Current CPR and First Aid certification
- 6Background clearance including criminal and child abuse verification
- 7Ability to operate practice management software and EHR platforms
- 8Proficiency in data entry and clinical documentation systems
- 9Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
- 10Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- 11Experience with population health management tools
