- 5Update medical records including social history and medication lists
- 6Process orders for screenings prescriptions and refills per AHN protocols
- 7Perform back-office testing and assist providers during examinations
- 8Serve as a scribe with additional training and provide patient follow-up
- 9Notify patients of test results in accordance with provider instructions
- 10Maintain organized exam rooms and ensure proper supply inventory
- 11Clean and sterilize instruments following AHN policies and manufacturer guidelines
Requirements6
- 1High School diploma or GED or completion of a Medical Assistant program
- 2Certification such as NHA AAMA AMT NCCT AMCA within five years or one year of work experience
- 3Valid CPR Act 34 certification
- 4Background clearance for Act 33 child abuse and Act 73 fingerprinting
- 5Associate's degree preferred
- 6Compliance with HIPAA and data security policies
