What You'll Do11

- 6Perform back office testing according to AHN protocols
- 7Assist providers with examinations and procedures
- 8Serve as a scribe with additional training
- 9Provide patient follow up through preferred communication methods
- 10Notify patients of test results promptly per provider instructions
- 11Maintain organized exam rooms and supply inventories
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma or completion of a medical assistant program
- 2Certification such as NHA CPC or AAMA within five years
- 3One year of relevant medical assistant experience
- 4Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- 5Background clearance including act 34 criminal history
- 6Child abuse clearance certificate
- 7FBI fingerprinting for criminal background check
- 8Associate's degree preferred
- 9Compliance with HIPAA and data security policies
- 10Ability to work flexible hours and travel between locations
