What You'll Do11
- 1Design and integrate additive manufacturing capability into ceramic and precursor workflows including build platforms material handling thermal management post-process handling.
- 2Own subtractive and finishing operations CNC strategy workholding fixturing tolerance stack-ups GD&T green-fired-state machining approaches DFM feedback into component design.
- 3Design and deploy automation and robotics robotic cells end effectors motion systems part transfer machine tending vision-assisted handling with safety architecture risk assessments.
- 4Integrate laser-enabled processing hardware with ceramic material workflows optics mounting motion control enclosure design thermal fume management laser safety compliance.
- 5Specify and instrument machines for data capture sensors thermal and load measurement in-process monitoring machine interfaces.
- 6Work with Head of Data & Software to structure label and enable process data for automation and machine learning from day one.
- 7Build test metrology and inspection fixturing supporting qualification NDT repeatable article-level evidence.
- 8Run equipment selection and vendor execution requirements RFQs build-to-print packages technical reviews FAT SAT acceptance criteria CAPEX justification alongside COO.
- 9Establish and enforce engineering discipline drawing standards revision configuration control ECO process BOM PLM documentation aligned with AS9100 defense manufacturing expectations.
- 10Identify and engineer out throughput constraints yield killers cost inflection points before they become production problems.
- 11Recruit mentor and lead small mechanical engineering and technician team as operation scales.

- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark Airflow
