Senior Manager of Ambulatory and Provider Services
Overview
Lead daily operations of outpatient clinic ensuring high standards of patient access service delivery and care coordination. Report to Executive Director overseeing frontline staff managing budgets optimizing workflows and supporting strategic initiatives enhancing patient experience and clinical efficiency.
What You'll Do11
- 1Oversee direct daily operations of outpatient clinic including front desk Clinical Nurse Supervisor Admitting Registration Patient Service Representatives
- 2Monitor patient flow scheduling access billing and collections performance to meet service expectations
- 3Recruit train supervise and evaluate clinic staff ensuring accountability and excellence
- 4Manage staffing plans schedules and timekeeping processes aligning with budget and patient volume
- 5Lead quality improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
- 6Partner with providers nursing and hospital leadership to coordinate care and ensure regulatory compliance
- 7Address patient family caregiver concerns ensuring compassionate and responsive experience
- 8Monitor supply usage budget variances and operational metrics contributing to financial planning and reporting
- 9Coordinate vaccine services ensuring safe consistent standardized care
- 10Collaborate with providers to optimize workflows documentation and EHR utilization
- 11Support implementation of new workflows digital health tools or clinical services with COIO and IT
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 3–5 years relevant outpatient practice or ambulatory operations experience
- 2At least 2 years supervisory or team leadership experience
- 3Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration Business or related field required
- 4Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration Business Public Health or similar preferred
- 5Familiarity with pediatric care environments or family centered service models strongly preferred
