What You'll Do11
- 1Manage daily immunoassay laboratory operations including study scheduling and staff planning
- 2Lead scientists and research associates in assay development and method optimization
- 3Assign and prioritize laboratory work based on program needs and cross-functional deliverables
- 4Provide technical oversight for assay execution and data review
- 5Support development of fit-for-purpose immunoassays for potency and identity characterization
- 6Oversee immunoassay troubleshooting and resolution
- 7Coordinate routine analytical testing within CMC Immunoassay programs
- 8Evaluate innovative immunoassay platforms such as ELISA and multiplex formats
- 9Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery
- 10Develop staff capability through coaching and performance feedback
- 11Maintain laboratory readiness and compliance with GMP standards
Requirements9
- 1PhD in Biochemistry Immunology or related field with minimum 8 years industry experience
- 2Minimum 5+ years hands-on immunoassay development in vaccine CMC or biologics
- 3Proven leadership experience managing laboratory staff and daily operations
- 4Expertise in ligand-binding immunoassay technologies like ELISA and MSD platforms
- 5Strong knowledge of method development platform evaluation and validation processes
- 6Experience with outsourced immunoassay activities and CRO management
- 7Familiarity with GMP-regulated analytical environments
- 8Ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams in fast-paced settings
- 9Commitment to data integrity and scientific excellence
Salary Insight
$170 - $200k per year
