Vaxcyte seeks an Associate Scientist II to lead immunoassay development within the CMC Immunoassay group. What You'll Do9
- 1Perform hands-on assay execution to support immunoassay development optimization and platform evaluation
- 2Execute immunoassays for potency antigenicity identity impurity characterization and release testing
- 3Support experiments using ELISA MSD electrochemiluminescence-based or other ligand-binding assay formats
- 4Prepare reagents buffers samples plates beads controls and reference materials for immunoassay testing
- 5Generate and summarize assay data including standard curves and system suitability results
- 6Troubleshoot studies by executing experiments documenting observations and communicating findings
- 7Maintain accurate laboratory documentation including ELN entries assay worksheets and data summaries
- 8Support laboratory readiness through consumable tracking instrument coordination and safety compliance
- 9Manage multiple laboratory tasks samples reagents and timelines in a fast-paced environment
Requirements6
- 1BS. in Biochemistry Immunology Analytical Chemistry Biological Sciences or related discipline with 2 years biopharmaceutical lab experience or MS with 1 year experience
- 2Hands-on laboratory experience with immunoassays ligand-binding assays analytical testing bioanalytical testing
- 3Familiarity with ELISA MSD electrochemiluminescence-based or other ligand-binding assay technologies
- 4Ability to follow protocols execute experiments carefully document work and communicate observations
- 5Strong attention to detail commitment to laboratory safety data integrity and scientific excellence
- 6Experience managing multiple laboratory tasks samples reagents and timelines in a fast-paced environment
