What You'll Do8
- 1Perform comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units refrigeration equipment boilers and mechanical systems
- 2Install new HVAC equipment following schematics design plans and building codes to ensure safe efficient operation
- 3Conduct routine maintenance such as filter replacements system calibrations and electrical diagnostics
- 4Diagnose electrical issues using ohmmeters and execute precise repairs
- 5Interpret schematics technical manuals and building automation diagrams for accurate repairs
- 6Collaborate with property maintenance teams to upgrade or repair systems enhancing overall building efficiency
- 7Provide clear explanations of repair procedures to customers ensuring satisfaction
- 8Maintain detailed service records work orders and inspection reports for compliance
Requirements10
- 1Minimum five years experience as an HVAC service technician or related trade
- 2Strong knowledge of HVAC/R systems including refrigeration ammonia refrigeration boilers and air conditioning units
- 3Proficiency in reading schematics HVAC design plans electrical diagrams and building automation systems
- 4Experience installing maintaining compressors condensers fans pumps and controls
- 5Familiarity with plumbing systems associated with HVAC operations
- 6Ability to use ohmmeters for electrical diagnostics
- 7Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling
- 8Driver’s license preferred
- 95+ years building mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills
- 10Excellent customer service abilities with professional communication
