Senior Governance & Events Specialist - Executive Engagement Facilitator
Overview
You will own the full lifecycle of executive engagements for a cabinet-level customer, from intake to execution, in a high-visibility secretariat environment. You will coordinate with stakeholders, prepare briefing materials, and ensure flawless delivery of senior-level visits and travel. Collaborate with Leidos program leadership and government staff to refine event concepts into polished engagements. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, discretion, and the ability to perform under pressure, supporting TS/SCI Polygraph-cleared operations. Your expertise will directly enable mission-critical communications for U.S. Intelligence Community leaders.
What You'll Do8
- 1Review incoming requests for executive-level external engagements and prepare weekly engagement packages for leadership decisions.
- 2Coordinate with customer stakeholders to gather context and requirements for successful engagement execution within the first 90 days.
- 3Support executive secretariat staff in developing comprehensive briefing materials and engagement books for approved travel and events.
- 4Partner with protocol staff to execute day-of visits, coordinating with security personnel and other support elements.
- 5Assist government and subject matter experts in planning and executing executive foreign travel, ensuring compliance with all protocols.
- 6Collaborate with the executive secretariat government lead to refine event concepts into polished engagements appropriate for cabinet-level principals.
- 7Deliver all work products with accuracy, free of planning or logistical errors, maintaining Microsoft Office proficiency.
- 8Perform additional administrative or protocol-related duties as directed by government staff.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree and 18+ years experience, or Master's degree and 10+ years experience, or no degree with 24+ years experience.
- 2Active TS/SCI Polygraph clearance is required.
- 310+ years providing direct support to executive-level leadership.
- 4In-depth knowledge of U.S. Intelligence Community and federal government operations.
- 5Exceptional writing, grammar, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.
- 6Excellent time management and organizational skills to balance multiple high-priority tasks.
- 7Demonstrated experience developing briefing or trip books for senior executives or cabinet-level officials.
- 8Familiarity with cable writing, classified databases, and executive communication.
- 9Experience using customer databases to monitor field traffic and communicate with field offices.
- 10Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
