Senior Food & Beverage Manager, Jerome Village Bar & Grille
Overview
You will run daily F&B operations for front and back of house at Jerome Village Bar & Grille, a high-volume venue in Columbus. You own scheduling, inventory, and guest satisfaction while leading a team of 20+ staff. You report to the General Manager and collaborate with the culinary team to deliver consistent quality. This role stands out for its focus on hands-on operational leadership and direct impact on guest experience.
What You'll Do10
- 1Manage daily front and back of house operations, assigning duties and monitoring staff performance to ensure timely, friendly service.
- 2Monitor guest feedback, resolve issues, and continuously improve the dining experience.
- 3Assist with weekly front of house inventory and purchasing to control costs and maintain product levels.
- 4Schedule team member shifts around peak mealtimes and special events to ensure adequate coverage.
- 5Review timecards for accuracy and manage labor costs.
- 6Develop dining room floor plans, delegate side work, and check out servers before shift end.
- 7Oversee daily and deep cleaning schedules to meet cleanliness standards and equipment maintenance.
- 8Design and implement training programs to boost team skills and ensure health and safety compliance.
- 9Create and run team member appreciation and incentive programs.
- 10Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly inventories and assist with social media content for special events.
Requirements10
- 1High school diploma and prior customer service experience.
- 2Micros POS system experience preferred.
- 3Knowledge of proper etiquette and service standards.
- 4Basic math skills for inventory and cost control.
- 5Professional communication skills in English.
- 6Ability to take direction and work in a team.
- 7Problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, and organization.
- 8Commitment to quality service and food and beverage knowledge.
- 9Knowledge of banquets and event execution.
- 10Ability to work on feet for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.
