Senior Financial Analyst, SaaS & AI in Finance
Overview
python, Power BI, Tableau experience preferred. You will own budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across a high-growth SaaS company. Collaborate with CFO and executives to shape strategy, dashboards, and KPI reporting. Drive modernization of finance operations through automation and AI initiatives. This role blends rigorous analysis with proactive problem solving and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Technology.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and own the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts across departments to enable strategic decision making
- 2Partner with department leaders to refine budgets, spending plans, and headcount plans and monitor variances
- 3Design, build, and maintain KPI dashboards and reporting tools for real-time visibility into financial performance
- 4Develop ad hoc analyses to support strategic and day-to-day business decisions and present findings to leadership
- 5Lead the introduction and adoption of AI and automation to streamline reporting and reduce manual work
- 6Prepare board materials, investor reports, and executive presentations for key stakeholders
- 7Analyze core SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, gross margin) and translate into actionable insights
- 8Collaborate cross-functionally to align financial planning with business strategy and operations
- 9Evaluate and implement new tools, technologies, and processes to improve finance speed, accuracy, and efficiency
- 10Support financial modeling for initiatives, pricing decisions, and business case evaluations
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
- 25+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis or corporate finance in a high-growth SaaS environment
- 3Advanced Excel modeling; familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is a plus
- 4Familiarity with AI-enabled tools, scripting (Python, SQL), or automation platforms is a strong plus
- 5Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadline
- 6Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into clear narratives for non-financial audiences
- 7Excellent written and verbal communication skills and comfort presenting to executives and the board
- 8Proven track record implementing automation and process improvements
- 9Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in SaaS or similar tech environments
- 10Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, evolving environment
