Senior Financial Analyst, Protolabs

What You'll Do8
- 1Revenue & Cost Analysis Partner with managers and leadership to help them understand revenue cost drivers and gross margins and how to plan for future growth
- 2Lead and prepare analysis of monthly quarterly and annual results comparing to past results current plans and future expectations
- 3Analyze operational and financial data to understand revenue and cost drivers
- 4Develop and deliver KPI tracking create and manage processes to analyze track and report on key initiatives
- 5Annual Budgeting and Quarterly Forecasting Partner with business leaders to understand investments needed to support business strategy collaborate with budget owners to build a consolidated financial plan including headcount and operating expenses and test for reasonableness
- 6Prepare presentations summarizing financial expectations and key assumptions and how they compare to previous expectations
- 7Provide financial analysis to help partners make better business decisions perform financial justifications for capital expenditures new projects and product proposals including scenario modeling and ROI analysis
- 8Identify opportunities to drive cost savings or utilize capacity and resources more efficiently
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 34+ years of progressive experience working in a finance or accounting role with experience in budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
- 4Finance experience in a manufacturing organization preferred but not required
- 5Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
- 6Data modeling experience
- 7Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/AX preferred but not required
- 8Ability to work and communicate well within all levels of the organization
- 9Maturity professionalism and high level of discretion
- 10Analytical thinking with ability to conduct data analysis and resolve complex problems
