Senior Field Engineer Yorktel
Overview
Yorktel seeks a Senior Field Engineer to install and manage large scale commercial audio visual presentation videoconferencing systems. This role reports to the Director of Yorkforce and focuses on technical strategy and client collaboration.
What You'll Do11
- 1Communicate stakeholder issues and recommend solutions to the PMO
- 2Provide technical answers and resolve complex inquiries
- 3Document site conditions and transmit details to project management
- 4Work daily with clients and job sites to capture requirements
- 5Deliver all installation documentation including red lined drawings
- 6Lead component installation configuration and calibration
- 7Oversee subcontractor operations and ensure budget adherence
- 8Conform to technical standards and Yorktel policies
- 9Interpret specifications and coordinate with engineering teams
- 10Perform client training and obtain acceptance forms
- 11Ensure post-installation support and transition to tech services
Requirements10
- 15+ years integrating networked video conferencing codecs and A/V control systems
- 2Experience with audio DSP devices and network infrastructure
- 3Certifications in Polycom Tandberg Cisco or AVIXA CTS recommended
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- 5Background clearance and willingness to undergo security screening
- 6Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain physical stamina
- 7Strong written verbal and interpersonal skills
- 8Education with relevant technical experience
- 9Domestic travel capability with overnight stays
- 10Commitment to professionalism and teamwork
