What You'll Do11
- 1Evaluate complex auto physical damage claims using digital tools to comply with contract terms state laws and regulations
- 2Investigate claim damages by communicating with insured parties internal adjusters and third parties
- 3Conduct face-to-face interactions with members and external vendors to resolve claim issues
- 4Review loss facts and vehicle damage to identify subrogation opportunities and maintain proper documentation
- 5Demonstrate deep knowledge of P&C insurance products services and internal processes to ensure legal compliance
- 6Analyze additional damages from repair facilities to supplement or triage cases
- 7Serve as subject matter expert for disputed claims or trials and advise team members on routine matters
- 8Partner with vendors and internal partners to resolve complex claims and coordinate external regulatory efforts
- 9Provide policyholders with clear information about coverage estimates and repair processes while managing expectations
- 10Support surge capacity and catastrophe response operations including on-call schedules and travel assignments
- 11Identify measure and control business activity risks following compliance policies and procedures
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or general equivalency diploma with 3 years auto appraising experience
- 2Proficiency in P&C insurance policy contracts claim appraisal processes and estimation platforms like CCC
- 3Strong written and verbal communication skills for members claimants repair facilities and internal stakeholders
- 4Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicle within assigned territory
- 5Physical ability to reach handle squat bend and climb while conducting vehicle inspections
- 6Capacity to work outdoors in inclement weather and in body shop or salvage yard environments
- 7Commitment to USAA fair chance ordinance and willingness to undergo background checks after conditional offer
- 8Experience as military appraiser or domestic partner providing relevant field service capabilities
