What You'll Do11
- 1Set appointments same day and inspect vehicles within 24 hours writing estimates
- 2Determine repair times and allocate labor operations effectively
- 3Make accurate repair decisions based on pre-existing damage assessment
- 4Apply pre-loss adjustments and negotiate final prices with shop decision makers
- 5Review supplement requests and validate supporting documentation
- 6Provide detailed cost estimates and explain claim processes to customers
- 7Manage advanced fees for tow tear down and storage services
- 8Perform quality assurance tasks and support desk appraisal activities
- 9Maintain accurate records of vehicle repair costs and claim explanations
- 10Collaborate with teams to meet project timelines and quality benchmarks
- 11Handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks efficiently
Requirements11
- 1Four years of insurance or body shop experience
- 2Strong technical knowledge of auto appraisal processes
- 3Understanding of client operations and labor regulations
- 4Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- 5Ability to pass state licensing requirements within 30 days of hire
- 6Reliable transportation for field work
- 7Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
