Overview
Senior Facilities Manager at Phenomenex drives comprehensive management of multi-building headquarters. Responsible for infrastructure development projects and sustainability initiatives. What You'll Do11
- 1Manage day-to-day operations of all facilities including labs cleanrooms and office spaces
- 2Source negotiate and manage contracts for facility services equipment and utilities
- 3Plan and execute facility upgrades expansions and relocations to support business growth
- 4Develop and manage facility budgets including capital projects and operational expenses
- 5Implement sustainability initiatives to reduce energy consumption water usage and waste
- 6Drive green initiatives while achieving company objectives regarding security uptime and associate engagement
- 7Identify infrastructure gaps and create roadmap to upgrade to modern standards
- 8Lead cross-functional teams in project execution
- 9Ensure compliance with safety standards throughout all operations
- 10Coordinate with external vendors for major construction projects
- 11Maintain detailed documentation of all facility processes
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management Engineering Environmental Science or related field
- 2Several years of experience managing facilities
- 3Proven ability to manage complex systems HVAC utilities and facility projects
- 4Valid driver’s license
- 5Ability to climb ladders and use lifting equipment for roof access
- 6Experience managing facilities in life sciences pharmaceutical or biotech environments
- 7Strong knowledge of GMP or GxP compliance and EHS standards
- 8Designing and leading projects related to chemical laboratory construction
- 9Travel required for site visits and meetings
- 10Physical stamina for on-site work
