
Senior Engineer, Embedded Systems & CAN Analysis
Overview
You own verification, smoke testing, and board triage for software releases in Dearborn, MI. You drive root cause investigation and corrective actions for connectivity and vehicle access issues. What You'll Do7
- 1Lead verification and smoke testing for software releases, triaging development boards.
- 2Reproduce issues, collect logs, and analyze CAN traces to identify root causes.
- 3Drive corrective actions for connectivity and vehicle access issues across test environments.
- 4Triage Bluetooth and NFC module latency issues in BODY ECU features.
- 5Support issue reproduction and log collection for software defects.
- 6Analyze CAN traffic to isolate system-level failures and propose fixes.
- 7Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve integration issues on boards and benches.
Requirements7
- 15+ years in embedded systems engineering or related field.
- 2Hands-on experience with CAN bus analysis and debugging tools.
- 3Proficiency with Bluetooth and NFC protocol stacks and module testing.
- 4Experience with BODY ECU or automotive electronic control units.
- 5Strong skills in log collection, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- 6Ability to work 100% on-site in Dearborn, MI.
- 7Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
