Overview
Lead the implementation of the Energy Isolation Program using SPS-101 standards and guidebooks. Collaborate with the Authorizing Energy Marshal to manage the Energy Isolation Permit process. Review Statements of Work and methods to identify energy sources. Determine LOTO needs and establish centralized systems. Verify qualifications and train personnel for energy isolation tasks. Delegate alternates for shift coverage. What You'll Do11
- 1Implement the Energy Isolation Program using SPS-101 standards and guidebooks as the foundational framework
- 2Establish and manage an Energy Isolation assurance process addressing audit gaps
- 3Participate in High-Risk Activity planning meetings related to energy isolation procedures
- 4Ensure approval process for proposed Energy Isolation procedures is properly implemented
- 5Collaborate with the Authorizing Energy Marshal to develop and manage the Energy Isolation Permit process
- 6Review Statements of Work Methods of Procedure and Scripts to identify all energy sources
- 7Determine need for group or individual LOTO and establish centralized LOTO system across site entities
- 8Verify personnel qualifications training and PPE compliance for energy isolation tasks
- 9Delegate qualified alternates to assume responsibilities during multi-shift or peak energization periods
- 10Ensure alignment with SPS-101 guidelines and maintain communication with site teams
- 11Coordinate onsite collaboration with clients and partners to support delivery and relationship building
Requirements10
- 18+ years of experience in DC construction and commissioning standards and practices
- 2Project Management Experience
- 3Familiarity with multiple sources of energy in data centers especially electrical
- 4Team player skills with clear verbal and written communication abilities
- 5Proven ability to interact with teams and implement improvements
- 6Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to engineers and non-engineers
- 7Strong capacity to audit site practices against written standards for assurance roles
- 8Ability to interpret line drawings and system redundancies for effective LOTO design
