Overview

As Senior Director, Talent Management, you will own and evolve an integrated enterprise talent strategy for Vail Resorts, shaping workforce pipelines, leadership succession, and career pathways across a global network of destination resorts. You will lead the shift from program-based delivery to a cohesive talent ecosystem, embedding diversity and inclusion into every process. Reporting to senior leadership, you will partner with HR teams across Europe and Australia to drive consistency while allowing for local nuance. This role offers the chance to architect scalable talent infrastructure for frontline and high-volume populations, directly enabling business outcomes.

What You'll Do10

  • 5Embed D&I into talent practices, reducing bias in assessment, development, and advancement decisions.
  • 6Lead global talent initiatives across Europe and Australia, partnering with regional leaders to adapt practices while maintaining enterprise consistency.
  • 7Drive a cohesive HR operating model, aligning Talent, Total Rewards, and Business Partners for a seamless global experience.
  • 8Use talent analytics to inform strategy, measure impact, and improve outcomes.
  • 9Influence senior leaders to model inclusive, high-impact talent practices and lead change across the matrix.
  • 10Build and lead a high-performing matrix team, elevating capability and driving accountability.

Requirements10

  • 110+ years of progressive experience in talent management, organizational development, or related fields.
  • 2Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or related field.
  • 3Deep expertise in enterprise talent strategy and talent systems design.
  • 4Proven ability to link business strategy to talent outcomes and deliver measurable impact.
  • 5Experience embedding inclusive practices into talent processes at scale.
  • 6Demonstrated success leading global, matrixed initiatives across regions and functions.
  • 7Advanced capability in talent analytics and insight-driven decision-making.
  • 8Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, including at the executive level.
  • 9Enterprise-level scope and impact in leadership experience.
  • 10Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment based in Broomfield, CO.
