Strategic Pricing Analyst at Vail Resorts
Overview
Own and manage pricing infrastructure for lift season pass and ancillary services while driving revenue growth. Analyze large datasets and lead pricing tests. - 5Create and maintain tactical pricing files for point-of-sale systems
- 6Analyze pricing mixes benchmark portfolios and profitability metrics
- 7Communicate insights clearly to influence marketing strategies
- 8Prioritize initiatives balancing broad projects and direct requests
- 9Optimize research methodologies and tools for improved accuracy
- 10Collaborate with teams to align research with strategic goals
- 11Provide upward and peer management through regular updates and feedback
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Proven track record in pricing analysis and revenue modeling
- 3Expertise with SQL Snowflake and Excel for data manipulation
- 4Familiarity with Tableau or similar visualization tools
- 5Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for large datasets
- 6Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics
- 7Ability to learn new domains quickly and adapt to ski industry trends
- 8Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics Statistics or related field
- 9Minimum age 18 with full-time availability
- 10Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage timelines
