Senior Consultant, Finance Operate & ServiceNow Platform Lead
Overview
Own the ServiceNow platform architecture within Finance Operate and drive platform decisions across offering delivery portal workflows integrations and configurations. Partner with AI automation architects and offshore developers to execute integration roadmaps while maintaining production quality and security. Engage with CFOs and senior stakeholders to translate complex finance needs into scalable platform solutions. This role is unique for its blend of hands on development architectural leadership and independent advisory within a Deloitte Finance Transformation context.
What You'll Do10
- 1Lead platform architecture advisory for the Finance Operate Platform across workflows integrations and configurations ServiceNow
- 2Design and implement workflow orchestration intake management approval flows exception handling SLA tracking and client governance on ServiceNow
- 3Define modular reusable workflow components integration patterns and configuration standards to accelerate engagements
- 4Collaborate with onshore AI/Automation Architect and offshore ServiceNow Developer to align platform direction and deliver integration roadmap
- 5Lead ServiceNow development and configuration for Offering delivery portal features ensuring production grade quality security and performance
- 6Define non functional requirements validate compliance prior to releases and establish development standards peer review and deployment controls for ServiceNow workstreams
- 7Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and external Finance Operate systems including ERP subledger data feeds accelerator outputs and analytics platforms
- 8Define data models API contracts and event driven integration patterns aligned to platform architecture standards
- 9Provide technical guidance to senior team members and clients and document platform designs integration specifications for audit readiness
- 10Stay current on ServiceNow platform releases capabilities and patterns relevant to Finance Operate delivery
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or related field
- 24-6 years of experience in ServiceNow development and architecture including hands on configuration of complex workflows integrations and reporting
- 3Demonstrated ability to design modular reusable ServiceNow workflow components and integration patterns
- 4Experience with ServiceNow APIs integration frameworks and data platform connectivity
- 5Strong documentation and communication skills ability to advise senior stakeholders independently
- 6Familiarity with Agile delivery practices and engineering fundamentals version control testing CI CD
- 7Ability to travel 25% on average based on client needs
- 8Preferred ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- 9Experience implementing ServiceNow in a managed services or Finance Operate context
- 10Knowledge of SLA management operational dashboards and client governance workflows
