Overview
You will own the design and delivery of enterprise-wide ServiceNow solutions, supporting large-scale implementations and platform modernization across ITSM, IRM/GRC, HRSD, and CSM. You will configure workflows, build custom applications, and integrate with REST APIs using ServiceNow and Flow Designer. Collaborating with architects and business stakeholders, you will drive technical strategies that reduce incident response times and automate approvals. This role requires 100% onsite presence in McLean, VA or Plano, TX and offers direct impact on a multi-year roadmap.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement ServiceNow modules for ITSM, IRM/GRC, HRSD, and CSM to meet business requirements.
- 2Build and configure Flow Designer workflows to automate process orchestration and notify stakeholders.
- 3Develop custom scripts and business rules using JavaScript to handle complex logic.
- 4Integrate external systems with REST APIs for seamless data exchange and event-driven updates.
- 5Automate regression testing using ATF and Selenium to ensure platform stability.
- 6Drive performance and security enhancements by auditing current configurations and recommending improvements.
- 7Mentor junior developers and enforce coding standards for maintainable, scalable solutions.
- 8Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical designs and sprint deliverables.
Requirements7
- 15+ years of development experience on the ServiceNow platform, including ITSM and IRM/GRC.
- 2Hands-on expertise with Flow Designer, JavaScript, and REST APIs for integration and automation.
- 3Proven track record implementing HRSD and CSM modules in enterprise environments.
- 4Experience building and executing test suites with ATF and Selenium.
- 5Solid understanding of ServiceNow data model, ACLs, and system properties.
- 6Active ServiceNow certification (e.g., Certified Application Developer) preferred.
- 7Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
