Senior Business Systems Analyst FX Trading
Overview
Own the FX trading systems analysis for a premier client in Salt Lake City, Utah, working onsite to bridge business and technology. You will partner with trading desks and engineering teams to define requirements and drive system enhancements. This 6-month W2 contract offers a chance to impact high-stakes trading operations. What You'll Do8
- 1Gather and document requirements for FX trading systems, turning trader feedback into actionable specs.
- 2Partner with developers to design and implement system enhancements, validating outcomes against business needs.
- 3Run gap analysis on current FX workflows and identify process improvements.
- 4Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure trading system changes align with regulatory and operational standards.
- 5Support user acceptance testing, coordinating sign-offs and tracking issues to resolution.
- 6Communicate status and risks to stakeholders, keeping projects on schedule.
- 7Own the documentation of system processes and changes, ensuring traceability.
- 8Facilitate meetings between trading and technology groups to prioritize and refine backlogs.
Requirements8
- 15+ years as a Business Systems Analyst in financial services, focusing on FX or trading systems.
- 2Experience with FX trading platforms such as FXall or Bloomberg, with a strong understanding of trade lifecycle.
- 3Proven ability to write clear functional requirements and user stories.
- 43+ years working in agile delivery models, partnering with engineering teams.
- 5Strong SQL skills for data analysis and querying trading data.
- 6Knowledge of trade reporting and regulatory requirements (e.g., EMIR, Dodd-Frank).
- 7Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8Local to Salt Lake City with the ability to work onsite daily.
