Overview
The Senior Associate, Material Handling oversees receiving, storing, tracking, moving, and shipping materials to support manufacturing and operational activities. This role ensures inventory accuracy and efficient material flow while maintaining safety and cleanroom standards. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day warehouse operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production demands.
What You'll Do11
- 1Receive, inspect, store, and process incoming materials following established procedures
- 2Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP and warehouse management systems
- 3Perform inventory transactions and reconcile discrepancies through audits and investigations
- 4Coordinate material movement for jobs and production requirements to meet schedules
- 5Track shipments and update documentation promptly
- 6Prepare materials and documentation for domestic and international shipments
- 7Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory and transactions
- 8Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to ensure material availability
- 9Generate reports to support operational decisions
- 10Implement inventory control processes to reduce loss and improve accuracy
- 11Support continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency
Requirements11
- 1Associate or bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Logistics Business or equivalent experience
- 2Proven experience in material handling inventory control and warehouse operations
- 3Hands-on experience receiving storing transferring issuing packing and shipping materials
- 4Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and adherence to contamination control standards
- 5Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or similar platforms
- 6Experience with inventory management software and warehouse management systems
- 7Ability to perform cycle counts audits and inventory reconciliation
- 8Understanding of inventory control methodologies and supply chain principles
- 9Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- 10Commitment to safety quality and compliance standards
- 11Ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
